Why just the British colonialism of Australia? Why not Canada as well, South Africa (now nearly a failed state), and every other dominion and colony of the British Empire? In c. 1900 the British Empire had colonies and dominions across approxomately 25% of the globe. Big yes, influential on world history back then, certainly. The only Eurasian empire in history? There are dozens of those. The British Empire was not even the first thalassaic empire in history, nor the first global one; that was the Spanish and Portuguese Empires. Empires never last; a condominium of imperially conquored colonies and states, they quickly rise then fall.

I would not label Wiston Churchill as the "Greatest Briton in all history". There are dozens of British men and women more deserving of this title, most of them not politicians. However, firstly this is my opinion and secondly attacking a powerful white male that died nearly 60 years ago as being a "racist" in globally a more racist era (back in the early 1900s), makes little sense, again my opinion but with a lot of common sense. Then figures like Julius and Octavian Caesar, who definitely kept slaves are themselves "racist" or George Washington, who had slaves like the Caesars 1800 years later, should also be called a "racist" is pure nonsense. We are judging these men from a singular point of view, from the mores and values of our own time, which was not the case in the past. We judge dead leaders of the past by their policies and mistakes and not whether they kept slaves or were racists; that is subjective. Slavery was a problem of the whole society and indeed the entire world of the past (e.g, early Americans kept slaves, ancient Romans kept slaves, ancient Persians and Indians kept slaves and so on) throughout the world. Whether a dead white male, or dead male that was a ruler period, kept slaves and was racist by our lights is irrelevant to the actions of that person (because slavery was ubiquitous) unless he was a slave trader. Tearing down history, vandalizing statues of politicians and famous people now long dead only shows us of the totalitarian thoughtcrime of our current era, and is nothing to do with a sensible critique of Churchill and his recorded actions, writing or speeches. To me Churchill is no hero, but his statue does not deserve vandalism for the thoughtcrime of being a white male leader of his country during wartime.

The claim that U.S. law enforcement originated as slave patrols is pretty weak, but not completely untrue. It's more so that they grew out of possies, which quite often served a dual function some parts of the country. Don't get me wrong, the people being interviewed here are incredibly obnoxious snowflakes who probably cry racism every time Jimmy Johns gets their order wrong, but there's definitely some validity to their viewpoint. My brother is a cop and some of the stories he tells...lets just say policing tends to attract a certain personality type in the U.S. It's amazing to me how foreigners have such strong feelings about the U.S. justice system. It's messy, and just like with any group, a few bad apples have the potential to spoil the lot. For the last 15 years or so we've been having a conversation about what policing needs to look like moving forward, is sending out a guy with a GED and a gun really the best answer to all of our societal ills? Probably not

Thats the problem with america. One just cannot start with a bank slate and overtime that undeniable effect of history which survived within the immigrants if not the early founders too showed up in subsequent time. Offcourse there could not have been nothing existing before colonisation, neither could have america be founded on blank slate even if there was strong wish to start that manner with a written constitution. As long as these things are not recognised and acknowledged by indviduals it wil always be rerun of excuses and denials not a solution. And that is dragging the whole world and europe down into series of repeating conflicts which people do not realise and will not realise as long as they do not acknowlege that fact. The solution for america is to remain separate along racial lines, otherwise i am increasingly convinced the darkness of africa has entered american society skipping europe but threatening to spread there too.

I watched the movie. Loved the utter, B-movie cringefest it was, even though it was manipulative garbage, lol. Idk if you'll ever see this, but definitely check out Jackie Chan's Police Story. It has a very similar amount of action to Wolf Warrior 2, but without the CCP propaganda (it was made in 1980s British Hong Kong, that's why).
